Leslie Maines, 81, of Williamson, NY and formerly of LeContes Mills, passed away peacefully after a short illness at his home in Williamson, NY on October 13, 2010, surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of 59 years, Katherine (Graham) Maines of Williamson NY; three children, Susan Knowlden and husband David of Scandia, PA, Daniel Maines and wife Karin of Clifton Springs, NY and Rebecca Camp and husband Richard of Marion, NY; four grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Andrew, Ashley; three sisters and a brother, Elizabeth Noland of N. Ridgeville, OH, Doris Kilburn and husband Darrell of Fairport, NY, Beatrice Maney and husband Richard of Frenchville, PA and Andrew Maines and wife Alma of Springhills, FL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren and a brother David Maines.
A memorial service will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11 AM. with Rev. David B. Letscher officiating. Interment will follow in the Gillingham Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lifetime Care and Hospice, 1120 South Main St., Newark, NY 14513.
