Lewis A. Coder, 75, of Turnpike Avenue, Clearfield, died on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at his residence.
He was born on February 15, 1930 in Clearfield, a son of the late Lewis Daniel and Elsie (Rowles) Coder.
Mr. Coder retired in 1992 from Commercial Printing in Clearfield. Prior to that, he was employed at the former Mann's Service Station, Clearfield.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Leigey Renaud Post #8386 Veteran's of Foreign Wars, Frenchville.
He attended the Christ United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
On October 31, 1965 in Clearfield, he wed the former Harriet Schickling who survives along with three children; Jolene Coder of York, David Coder and his wife, Cindy, of Woodland and Jason Coder and wife his wife, Amy, of Bellefonte; and a nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Huck Coder and a sister Vida Coder.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, RD# 3, Box 86, Philipsburg PA 16866
