Linda Winslow

Linda (Crissman) Winslow, 84, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on September 17, 1939, in Clearfield, PA to the late James T. and Dorothy P. (Owens) Crissman.

Linda graduated from the Clearfield Area High School in 1957. On February 24, 1962, she wed Robert R. Winslow, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2022.

Linda worked as a secretary for her father’s business until the birth of their daughter, Robin. She then took on the role of being a full-time mother, and she was a great one.

Over the years Linda enjoyed having a garden, doing crafts, being a horse show mom for Robin during her 4H and horse showing years, playing cards and vacationing with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Winslow, and her companion Brady Crain, of Osceola Mills, PA; her sister, Dottie Crissman, of Clearfield, PA; her sister-in-law, Jane Coudriet, and husband Fran of Chesterton, IN; her brother-in-law, Larry Winslow, and his wife Roselyn of Kent, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, John Crissman.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM until the hour of service.
