Lonnie M. Miller, 65 of Old Erie Pike, Clearfield died on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at his residence.

He was born on January 21, 1940 in Clearfield, a son of the late Lonnie and Mavis (Shifter) Miller.

Mr. Miller was a 1958 graduate of Clearfield High School. Following graduation, he served two years in the US Army Reserves.
He was employed at the former Public Market, Clearfield and retired from Swales Styline Upholstery, Clearfield in February of 2005.
He was a member of the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church, Clearfield where he belonged to the Christian Who Care Group, and was a trustee and choir member.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Leigey) Irwin Miller, whom he married March 18, 1995 in Nescopeck, two children, Rodney A. Miller and wife Bonnie of Clearfield and Jill M. Blackburn and husband Ron of Newport News, VA; three step-children, Kimberly A. Keller and husband Gerald of Osceola Mills, Perry L. Irwin and wife Joan of Clearfield and David E. Irwin and companion JoAnn Bear of Lancaster and 13 grandchildren, Brock Rougeux, Baylee Rougeux, Justin Blackburn, Patrick Hrenko, Jr., Jamie Schantz, Jessica Fahr and husband Jeremy, Sarah Keller, Jeremy Irwin, Kara Irwin, Briana Irwin, Mindy Irwin, Samantha Irwin and Jason Irwin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Mildred I. 'Midge' (Marsh) Miller on December 16, 1991, and whom he married January 20, 1962 in Clearfield.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Virginia Eminhizer officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Joy Cemetery, Clearfield RD.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Friday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kerr Addition United Methodist Church,
