Lorna R. McGovern, 51 of Frenchville died on Monday, December 1, 2008 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on February 12, 1957 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late William and Gloria (Aveni) Rauch.
Mrs. McGovern was employed by Denny's Beer Barrel Pub for 3 years. Prior to that, she was employed by Bayer Clothing for 27 years.
She was protestant by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Donald McGovern, Jr., whom she wed July 12, 1984 in Niagara Falls, N.Y.

three sisters and two brothers,
Linda Lope and husband Bob of Curwensville
Amy Dixon and husband Rodney of Culpeper, VA
Peggy Laird and husband Walt of West Decatur
Bill Rauch and fiancé Brenda Soule of Clearfield
Jeff Rauch and companion Lynda Hudson of West Decatur
a sister-in-law,
Marcella Aveni of Woodland
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan Aveni.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield at the convenience of the family with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice.
