Louis A. Kassab, Sr., of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on August 19, 1933, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, Louis was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he became a first-class deep-sea diver. After his service, he dedicated his career as a contractor with Sears, specializing in home remodeling, where he was known for his exceptional skills and work ethic.

Throughout his life, Louis was a true people person, known for his warm personality and ability to make others feel at ease. He cherished his family and friends, often bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Louis found great pleasure in various hobbies, including investing, hunting, fishing, farming, and cooking. He fondly recalled the memorable day he hunted a 10-point buck, an experience made even more remarkable as he dragged it over two miles uphill through ice and snow.

In his retirement, Louis became a self-taught furniture maker, crafting beautiful handmade pieces that he generously gifted to friends and family. One of his crowning achievements was building a new retirement home, a testament to his talent and dedication to creating a warm and welcoming space for his loved ones.

He is survived by his son, Michael Kassab, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Carlson (who helped take care of him and home in his later years), as well as his son T. Louis and daughter-in-law, Peggy Kassab. Louis A. Kassab will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Kassab, his wife, Delores (Lumadue) Kassab, and a son, Jeffrey Kassab.

A graveside service will be held at the Bradford Cemetery on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11:30 AM followed by a reception at the Clearfield Curwensville Country Club starting at 1 PM.
