Louise Hile

Louise P. Hile, 91 of Clearfield died on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on January 25, 1917 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Russell M. and Iva Mae (Parker) Haney.

Mrs. Hile was employed by the Clearfield Area School District as a cafeteria worker for 23 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Mount Joy United Methodist Church, Clearfield.

She is survived by three children,
Eugene Hile of Clearfield
Dorothy Disshon and husband Leroy of Clearfield
Kathryn Mannino and husband Carl of Northville, MI

four step-children,
Dennis Hile and wife Barbara of NY
Daniel Hile and wife Sandy of Clearfield
Peggy Parks and husband Louis of Mechanicsburg
Beth Shifter and husband Tom of Clearfield

four grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, ten step-great grandchildren and two step great, great grandchildren,

a sister,
Nancy Lady of Montoursville

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Harold 'Sam' Hile on November 3, 1957 and whom she wed on June 21, 1940, her second husband John S. Hile on May 4, 1996 and whom she married May 4, 1963 in Clearfield, two brothers Paul and Euguene Haney and a sister Rosemary Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at the Mount Joy United Methodist Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at 11 AM with Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Joy Cemetery, Clearfield RD.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 3-8 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Mount Joy United Methodist Church, 1727 Mount Joy Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.
