Lucy Lynn Welder, 89, of Grampian died on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born on November 22, 1917 in Grampian, a daughter of the late Earl and Lynora (Coons) Walburn.
Mrs. Welder was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Greenville Church of the Brethren and the Greenville Woman's Fellowship.
She is survived by five children, Paul Welder and wife Betty of Byrnedale, Ken Welder and wife Linda of Woodland, Samuel Welder and wife Beverly of Grampian, Ruth Wreight of Clearfield and Louise Welder of Grampian; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; four brothers Frank Walburn and wife Mary, Ralph Walburn and wife Theresa and Floyd Walburn and wife Pat all of Grampian, Bill Walburn and wife Geraldine of Greenville; and one sister, Elsie Emualson of Brockway; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Arthur Welder on December 29, 1969, an infant daughter, a brother Albert Walburn and two sisters Emma Wood and Mary Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. David A. Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Wood Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, July 5, 2007 from 9-11:00 AM.
