M. Glenn Luce, 57
of Curwensville died on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on April 4, 1951 in Clearfield, a son of the late Glenn M. and Rosemary (Weber) Luce, Sr.
Mr. Luce owned and operated G and L Auto Sales of Curwensville. Prior to that, he was employed by Clearfield Equipment as a sales manager.
He served in the US Army Reserves and was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Owens) Luce, whom he wed November 14, 1970 in Clearfield, two daughters,
Lisa Barner and husband Mike of Jersey Shore, Laurie Bednar and husband John of Beaver, two granddaughters, Kayla Barner and Riley Bednar, two sisters and a brother, Connie Amon and husband John of Curwensville, Brenda Fida of Curwensville, James Luce and wife Linda of Clearfield and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Randy Luce.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Alison W. Grove officiating. Interment will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Grampian, RD.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8:00 PM and on Wednesday from
Noon - 1:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Curwensville United Methodist Church, 602 State Street, Curwensville or to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 541 Graham Station Road, Philipsburg PA 16866.
