Mabel A. Cutler Bridge, 78, formerly of Clearfield, died on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
She was born on December 24, 1939 in Clarion, a daughter of the late James and Sarah (Heeman) Kougher.
Mrs. Bridge had been employed at McGregors Sportswear and Shortway Products before moving to Kentucky, where she subsequently retired from Goodwill Industries. She enjoys scrap booking and has always loved fishing. She was a member Calvary Memorial Baptist Church while residing in Kentucky.
She is survived by two nieces, Violet Booterbaugh and husband Junior of Altoona and Donna Bloom and husband Guy of Olanta; a grand nephews, Dustin McCracken of Philipsburg; several step grandchildren; and numerous other nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews whom she all loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Cutler as well as her second husband, Daniel Bridge. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Cutler; her daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Cutler; two sisters, Anna Mae Ardery and Violet Duprez; and three brothers, James Kougher, Charles Kougher, David Kougher.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 1 PM with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 AM- 1PM .
