Maida E. Duttry, 92 of Curwensville died on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on March 9, 1916 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Leslie and Olive (Condon) Straw.

Mr. Duttry was a homemaker.
She attended the First Baptist Church, Curwensville.

She is survived by two sons,
Leslie F. 'Bud' Duttry and wife Peggy of Curwensville
Wallace Duttry and wife Joanne of Curwensville

seven grandchildren,
Cindy Michael and husband Kent of Curwensville
Tom Duttry and wife Jan of FL
Rev. Bill Duttry and wife Pam of OH
Michael Duttry of FL
Genny Beth Evans and husband Mark of VA
Marty Duttry and wife Lisa of Olanta
David Duttry and wife Penny of VA

twelve great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren,

a sister,
Dot Johnson and husband Chuck of VA

and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Duttry on February 3, 1993 and whom she married June 4, 1932 in Maryland, two brothers Walter and Gerald Straw, and two sisters, Mary Barrett and Beryl Smeal.

There will be no public services. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Bill Duttry, grandson from Milford, Ohio, and the Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will be in the Lumber City Cemetery, Curwensville RD.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Circle of Friends of Hospice, % Annie Lumadue 286 West Pauline Drive, Clearfield, or Curwensville First Baptist Church, PO Box 312, Curwensville.

The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville is in charge of arrangements.
