Margaret Coudriet

Margaret Helen (Jury) Coudriet, 78 of LeContes Mills died on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on February 10, 1927 in LeContes Mills, a daughter of the late Lewis and Margaret (Bell) Jury.

Mrs. Coudriet was formerly employed by the Clearfield County Government, the former Clear Haven Nursing Home, Kurtz Bros and was the Girard Township Tax Collector for 8 years. She was also employed at the Clearfield County Fair Office during the fair.
She was a member of the Congress Hill United Methodist Church, LeContes Mills where she was active as a liturgist, a communion steward and a Sunday school and Bible school teacher.

Mrs. Coudriet was a member of the Girard Grange for over 60 years, a member of the Pomona Grange No. 33 and active in the State Grange. In addition, she was member of the LeContes Mills Fire Hall Auxiliary and the Republican Women. She was a former member of the Clearfield Chapter #379 Order of the Eastern Star and volunteered for the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce S. Coudriet, whom she married January 2, 1948 in Congress Hill United Methodist Church, three children, Michael 'Mick' Coudriet of Pittsburgh, Peggy ‘Lady’ Putt and husband Larry of Clearfield and Rick Coudriet and wife Cindy of Clearfield, eight grandchildren,
Gigette Ursone and husband Dom, Michael Coudriet and wife Lisa, Stephen Putt, Daniel Putt and wife Denise, Sheri Putt and fiancé Andy Daugherty, Maggie Billotte and husband Chad, Ryan Coudriet and Jill Hathorn and husband Jonathan, five great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Jury and wife Ethel of Clearfield and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Brian Putt, brothers and sisters Harry, Richard, and Ellis 'Pete' Jury, Agnes Aughenbaugh and Hannah Holland and an infant brother and infant sister.

Funeral services will be held at the Congress Hill United Methodist Church, LeContes Mills on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Kenneth Leonard and Rev. Jay E. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Gillingham Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Congress Hill United Methodist Church, c/o Greater Shawville Parish, P.O. Box 162, Shawville or the LeContes Mill Fire Company, Gillingham Road, Frenchville.
