Margaret H. Coulter, 81, of Curwensville died on Monday, February 20, 2006 at Altoona Regional Health Care Systems, Altoona Hospital Campus.
She was born on March 30, 1924 in Penn Township, a daughter of the late Warner and Blanch (Moore) Wall.
Mrs. Coulter was a homemaker and a member of the Grampian Church of God and the Women's Club of the church. She was also a member of Penn Grange #534, the Women's Club of Grampian, and the Penn-Grampian Fire Company Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Coulter and wife Gail of DuBois; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother, Mildred Scumaci of NY and Lynn Wall of Altoona.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Commodore Bruce Coulter, on April 1, 1990 and whom she married June 12, 1951; a daughter, Connie Coulter; two sisters, Rebecca Hagy and Ruth Snyder; and four brothers, James, Warner, Jr., Ralph, and Donald Wall.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Gust J Maderia, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8:00 PM and on Friday from 10-11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Grampian Church of God, 1420 Chestnut Grove Highway, Grampian, PA 16838.
