Margaret C. 'Peggy' Dominy , 76, of Curwensville died on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
She was born on June 5, 1937 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Russell and Sylvia (Demi) Condran.
Mrs. Dominy was employed as a bookkeeper for Home Health in Curwensville. Prior to that, she was a manager at JoAnn Fabrics and Kmart, both of Clearfield. She had also previously been employed at Malloy True Value Hardware and Bell Telephone in Clearfield. As hobbies, Mrs. Dominy enjoyed doing various types of arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Dominy whom she wed November 20, 1965; three children, Frank R. Dominy of Missoula, MT, Jeffrey A. Dominy and wife Laura of Grampian and Jennifer K. Dominy and fiance Ian Reynolds of Colorado Springs, CO; a step granddaughter and Allie Lippert; and a niece Connie Preston and husband Gary of Sodus, NY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half brother, Robert Condran.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday at 11 AM with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 9-11 AM .
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the chairty of donor's choice.
