Margaret Gross

Margaret E. Gross, 92, of Parker, PA passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at her home.

She was born on February 13, 1932 in Smithport, a daughter of the late Martin L. and Cora Lee (Smith) Elbell.

Mrs. Gross worked in various capacities during her life, including secretarial work, being a real estate agent, working retail at JoAnn Fabrics, and working in the field of child care. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and oil painting.

She is survived by her children Richard Gross of Parker, Ronald Gross and wife Lori of Chicora, and Elaina Carty and husband Michael of Fairfield; eight grandchildren, Mary Gross, Meagan Gross, Tyler Gross, Seth Gross, Cameron Gross, Nicole Harris, Andrew Carty, and Sarah Carty; three great grandchildren, Jackson Gross, Autumn Gross, and Landon Gross; a sister, Marcella Turner; and a brother, Theodore 'Sonny' Elbell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gross; and ten brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday July 19, 2024 at 2 PM. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 1-2 PM.
