Margaret M. Hepfer, 97
of Irishtown died on Friday, April 2, 2004 at her residence.
She was born on February 21, 1907 in Penn Township, a daughter of the late James A. and Henrietta (Heilburn) Rafferty.
Mrs. Hepfer was a homemaker and a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian.
She is survived by seven children

Duane Hepfer and wife Jane Grampian
Barb Crandell and husband Ken Eldred
Sandy Hartzfeld and husband Glenn Luthersburg
Daniel Hepfer and wife Donna Falls Creek
Donald Hepfer and wife Carol Grampian
30 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Hepfer on March 26, 1966 and whom she married in October of 1925, sons John and James Hepfer, four infant children, brothers Wilfrid, Sylvester, Albert, Milton, and Clair Rafferty and sisters Catherine Danvir, Jane Clark, Ann and Charlotte Rafferty.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. Joseph K. Bobal as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Saint Bonaventure Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Monday from
2-4 & 6-8 PM.
On Monday at the funeral home, a Christian Vigil Service will be said at 7:00 PM and the rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 119 East Market Street, Clearfield PA 16830 or the Clearfield Foundation for Health Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield PA 16830
