Margaret L. 'Peggy' Schell, 80 of Clearfield died on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born on July 9, 1928 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Frank C. and Irene (Beauseigneur) Buck.
Mrs. Schell was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, a volunteer for the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
She is survived by two children,

Katherine Ann Schell-Smith and husband Michael of Fredericksburg, VA
five grandchildren,
Janine Coble and husband Zach of Harrisburg
Jessica Schell of Winterhaven, FL
JP Schell of Clearfield
Kirslyn and Kennedy Schell-Smith of Fredericksburg, MD
a sister and a brother,
Rosalie Koehler of Camp Hill

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John G. "Jack" Schell on December 30, 2005 and whom she married June 26, 1954 in Clearfield, two brothers Frank "Spike" Buck, Jr. and Edward T. Buck, a sister Bette Buck Thompson, and four infant brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at 10:00 AM with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from 5-8 PM and on Thursday from 9-9:30 AM.
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 4:45 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of one's choice.
