Marie Riddle

Marie Helen Riddle, 95

of 502 Ridge Avenue Extension, Curwensville died on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on September 24, 1909 in Grampian, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Hoyt) Clark.

Mrs. Riddle was a homemaker and was a member of the Cherry Corner Bible Church, Grampian.

She is survived by three children,
Helen L. Frailey and husband Robert Curwensville
John W. ‘Jack’ Riddle and wife Ellen Jean Curwensville
Marjorie A. Shaw Leesburg, FL

19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren

a brother and sister,
Edward Clark Clearwater, FL
Clara McElwee Lewistown

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russ W. Riddle in July of 1967 and whom she married in Maryland in 1925.

She was also preceded in death by children, Mabel Bloom, Doris Bodenbender, Thomas E. Riddle, an infant son, a great grandson and these siblings, Ada Morgan, Dellaphine McCartney, Raymond Clark, Ann Rupp, Alice Schmidt, James Clark, Margaret Wheeler, John Clark and Thomas Clark.

Funeral services will be held at the Cherry Corner Community Church, Grampian RD on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor George W. Solley officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday from
2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Wednesday at the church from 10-11:00 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Cherry Corner Bible Church, R.D. 1, Box 440 Grampian.
