Marilyn Marie Kerner, 78, of Clearfield, passed away Sunday April 2, 2023 at her home.
She was born on July 2, 1944 in Elk County, a daughter of the late Earl Kerner and Marie (Schreiber) Stoughton.
Marilyn was employed by the Clearfield Hospital before retirement. She was a true animal lover and cared for many cats and other pets throughout her life.
She is survived by her partner of 35 years, Tim Brown of Clearfield; daughter, Kellie (Broscious) Stone and her husband Vance of Stevensville, MD; two grandchildren, Drew Stone and his wife Abigail of Charleston, SC and Nicholas Stone of Annapolis, MD; a brother Kenneth J. Kerner and wife Kathy of California; two sisters, Jean Roseman and husband John of DuBois, and Cathy McAllister and husband Bob of Hyde.
She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Ann Fida.
Honoring the family’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Orphans of the Storm, 412 Hill St., Curwensville; or the Clearfield County S.P.C.A., 275 21st St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
