Marlene Joyce Thomas, 72, of Curwensville, and formerly of Woodland, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born Sept. 10, 1937, at Woodland, she was a daughter of the late James Edward and Georgie Irene (Lingle) Knepp.
Mrs. Thomas was employed by the former Shortway Products, Clearfield.
She was Methodist by faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Miller and husband, Glenn, of Curwensville and Brenda McCahan and husband, William, of Olanta; three grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Miller of South Williamsport, Clayton Andrew Miller and wife, Michelle, of Curwensville and Breanna Cheyenne McCahan of Olanta; and a sister and three brothers, Phyllis Irene Jordan and husband, John, of Woodland, James Keith Knepp and wife, Sue, of Texas, Charles Warren Knepp and wife, Cheryl, of Clearfield, and Daniel Lynn Knepp and wife, Barb, of Woodland.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday, June 30, from 10-11 a.m.
At the request of Mrs. Thomas, there will be no public services.
Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
