Martin L. "Hank" Hoffman, 84
of 411 W. Market Street, Clearfield and formerly of Pottstown died on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at his residence.
He was born on October 9, 1920 in Pottstown, a son of the late Martin and Florence (Rhoads) Hoffman.
Mr. Hoffman served with the US Navy during WW II and graduated from the Naval School of Music.
He was employed with the Dana Corporation in Pottstown for many years, retiring in 1983.
He was a former member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown and the Pottstown Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
After moving to Clearfield in 1983, he became a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Clearfield.
He is survived by three children,

Lisa H. Soult and husband John G. Soult, Jr. of Clearfield
two grandsons,
Christopher Hoffman and John G. 'Jack' Soult, III
and a sister and brother,
Helen Somma of Coatesville
Robert Hoffman of PA
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Stasin) Hoffman on February 11, 1998 and whom he married January 2, 1946 in Pottstown and a sister, Evelyn Schwoyer.
A memorial service will be held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pottstown on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Burlington B. Latshaw, III officiating. Interment will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Hospital - Home Health, 440 Front Street, Clearfield, Clearfield Foundation for Health - Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield or to the charity of one's choice,
