Mary Catherine Boyce, 85

of 222 Leavy Avenue, Clearfield died on Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Colonial Courtyard, Clearfield.

She was born on May 28, 1917 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late David and Henrietta (Stine) Freeman.

Mrs. Boyce was employed as a seamstress and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by nine children,

Margaret Porter and husband Ronald Clearfield
Kenneth Boyce and wife Patricia Boston, MA

Rodney Boyce and wife Bonnie Clearfield
Randy Boyce and companion Ellen Rochester, NY

23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren

two brothers and a sister,

Margaret France Las Vegas, NV

numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Boyce on March 16, 1991 a son Donald Boyce, a daughter-in-law Connie Boyce, a granddaughter Cathy Jo Porter and brothers Joseph, John, Henry, Richard and Allen Freeman.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Michael G. Trimmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 10 - 11:00 AM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 121 S. Second Street, Clearfield or to the Clearfield Foundation for Health- Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield.
