Mary Lou Hipps, 66
of 878 Flegal Road, Clearfield died on Friday, April 22, 2005 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on September 6, 1938 in West Decatur, a daughter of the late Harry and Zelma (Treasure) Cowher.
Mrs. Hipps was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Richard P. Hipps, whom she married November 10, 1961 in West Decatur, two children, Randy Hipps of Clearfield, Deborah Lansberry and husband Jim of Luthersburg, 2 grandsons, Travis Smith and Brandon Hipps, three step-grandsons, Joshua, Shannon and Brennen Lansberry, four step great-grandchildren, three sisters, Becky Taylor of OH, Marge Rohart of Williamsport, Virginia Fetcho of Munson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Richard P. Hipps, Jr., two brothers, Tom and Joby Cowher and a sister Jean Moore.
Memorial services will be held at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Clearfield on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Virginia Eminhizer officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 119 East Market Street, Clearfield PA 16830 or charity of one's choice.
