Mary Swanson, 72, of Woodland passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on May 12, 1950 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Levon 'Red' and Violet (Irwin) Renaud.
Mary was a homemaker and spent a lot of time participating in one of her favorite activities that she loved, which was shopping. She also loved her cats dearly and enjoyed taking care of them. She liked to watch and feed the birds around her house, enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows, and liked to dance any time she had an opportunity to do so. Above all, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being around their laughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Miller and husband Ken; two grandchildren, Alicia Stiles and husband Jeffrey, and Lucas B. Miller; two sisters, Francis Smeal and husband Terrance, and Donna Stark and husband Tom; three nieces, Billie Jo Wrigleman and husband Bob, Brittany Rowles and husband Matt, and Nicole Skelly and husband Shawn, and her beloved cat, Autumn Lee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis A. Swanson on April 15, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Levon F. Renaud, Jr.; and nephew, Levon F. Renaud, III.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 1 PM with Pastor Robert F. Henry officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 AM - 1 PM.
