Mary C. Wagner, 75
of 541 Nichols Street, Clearfield died on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on October 19, 1928 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Alex and Vaida (Bumgarner) Boyle.
Mrs. Wagner retired as a clerk from the former Ziff's Tots to Teens after 17 years of service. She had also been employed as a waitress by the former Turnpike Coffee Shop for several years.
Mrs. Wagner was Methodist by faith.
She is survived by a son,
Mark Wagner and his wife Cathy North Platte, NE
two daughters,
Cherre Strathen Clearfield
Lorre Read and her husband Don Hyde
five grandchildren,
Michael and Jennifer Strathen, Jamie Lockett, Eric and Amber Wagner,
one great granddaughter,
a companion,
George Waring Clearfield
a sister,
Lorraine Thurston and her husband Les Clearfield
and several nieces and nephews,
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Wagner on Oct 11, 1967 and whom she married April 15, 1953 in North Carolina and her brother Robert Boyle.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Richard B. Cartwright officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8:00 PM and on Friday from
Noon -2:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice
