Maud Loss

Maud E. Loss, 95, of Clearfield and most recently of Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center died on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on September 12, 1910 in Fayetteville, NC, a daughter of the late Bishop Walter and Mildred (Burgin) Slade.
Mrs. Loss was a homemaker and attended the Apostolic Believer's Tabernacle, Clearfield.
She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Leause and Hattie Goode both of CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Loss, on October 15, 1977 and whom she married December 24, 1929 in North Carolina, two sisters, Addie and Beatrice and two brothers Walter and Mayfield.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Stanley M. Wisor officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10-11:00 AM.
