Michael J. Adcock, 67, of Clearfield died on Friday, January 8, 2016 at his home.
He was born on January 10, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Charles and Anna (Schultz) Adcock.
Mike retired from Glen-Gery Brick, Bigler and had previously been employed by Harbison Walker Refractory in Clearfield until they had closed. Mike truly loved the outdoors, and had a real passion for hunting and especially for fishing. He also enjoyed skeet and target shooting. Also, he really cherished his time spent with all of his family, especially his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was Lutheran by faith and a veteran of the armed services, he served with the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (McNamee) Adcock whom he wed August 22, 1970; two daughters, Casey Cercone and husband Edward of Allison Park and Kimberly Kaup and husband Shawn of McVeytown; and two grandchildren, Gino and Isabella Cercone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Charles Adcock.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public services held.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield.
