Michael P. Ninno, 70, of Clearfield died on Saturday, May 28, 2022 after a 16 year battle with cancer.
He was born on January 8, 1952 in Bangor, PA, a son of the late Michael and Louise (Uliana) Ninno.
Michael was employed with Bethlehem Steel Corp. until they closed. He then worked for PennDOT for 25 years. Michael enjoyed watching Formula One racing and attended races with his brother in Florida. He was also a member of American Motor Corporation and enjoyed older cars.
He is survived by his companion of fifteen years, Joe Ann Royer of Clearfield; two daughters, Heather (Ninno) Powers and husband Jon of Camp Hill, and Karissa (Ninno) Vescovish and husband Michael of Etters; a grandson, Jacob Michael Vescovish; two sisters, Michele (Ninno) Stephanko and husband John of Nazereth and Carol (Ninno) Stachnik and husband Joseph of Easton; a brother, Mark Ninno and wife Sharon of Oviedo, FL; extended family; Al Royer and wife Jennifer of Clearfield and their son, Mason Royer of Erie and Lesa (Royer) Henry and husband Chris of Clearfield and their children Josh Henry and Joell Henry; a step brother, Neil Holland and wife Deb of Easton; and six nieces and nephews.
As per Michael's request, no services will be held at this time. Burial will be at the Christ Presbyterian Church of the Slate Belt in Bangor, PA.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements.
