Michael Paul Yeager, 69, State College, formerly of Clearfield, passed away Thursday at his residence.
Mike was born in Oil City, son of the late John S. and Elizabeth L. (Burdick) Yeager. He is survived by a son, J. Benjamin Yeager (Kelly) of Hollidaysburg; three grandchildren: Kaylyn M., Frank B. and Max S. Yeager and a sister, Kathryn P. Yeager (John M. Sullivan) of Lancaster.
Mike was also survived by Kay S. Yeager and Lois Catherine “Cassie” Smith.
He was preceded in death by Max S. Smith.
Mike was also preceded in death by several infant siblings.
He was a graduate of Venango Christian High School, a 1969 graduate of Penn State University and a 1972 graduate of Dickenson School of Law.
Mike retired as a self-employed attorney and was a longtime member of the Clearfield County Bar Association.
Mike enjoyed Penn State sports, golfing, skiing, model train collecting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Memorial Mass will be held at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at 10 AM with Fr. Brandon M. Kleckner officiating.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.
