Myrtle Kline

August 29, 1914 — January 7, 2008

Myrtle L. Kline, 90 of Curwensville died on Monday, January 7, 2008 at her residence.

She was born on August 29, 1917 in Salem, a daughter of the late John and Lillian (Postlethwait) Gearhart.

Mrs. Kline was a homemaker. She was previously employed as a patient caregiver at the Rest Haven Nursing Home as well as private patient care.
She was a member of the Community Baptist Church, Curwensville.

She is survived by four children, Dale L. Kline and his wife Joanne of Curwensville, Robert J. Kline, Sr. and his wife Gladys of Grampian, Mary Jane Hess and her husband Ed of Curwensville, and Patricia Kline of Mt. Joy, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Kline, on June 24, 1964 and whom she wed May 29, 1936 in Cumberland, MD, a daughter Audrey Marshall and an infant daughter Marion.

She was the last member of her immediate family.

At the request of the family there will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, Luthersburg RD.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Circle of Friends of Hospice, % Annie Lumadue 286 West Pauline Drive, Clearfield PA 16830.
