Nancy Canfield

Nancy M. Canfield, 73, passed away on January 7, 2025, at her home.

She was born December 17, 1951, the daughter of Ivan Appleton and Willa "Billie" (Solley) Appleton.

Nancy graduated from Curwensville High School in 1969. She then worked as a seamstress at the former Kent's Sportswear and later retired from JG Food Warehouse as a cashier.

She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were her world. She also loved her dog, Charlie, very dearly. Nancy was a social butterfly that knew everyone and could talk to anyone.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Vicky Forsht of Morrisdale, Sherry (Bill) Walker of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Skylar (Kevin) Graham of Clearfield, Brooke (Ryan) Gallaher of Bigler, Cale (Haley Thompson) of Somerset, OH, and Cole (Callie) Walker of Columbus, OH; great grandchildren, Rilynn Gallaher, Canyen Gallaher, Colton Walker, and Luca Graham; sister, Wava Temples of Cartersville, GA, Patti Novak of Horseshoe Beach, FL, and Gail (Benny) Long of Rockmart, GA; one niece and two nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her fiancé, Dave Coleman; and a sister, Antionette Appleton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 3 PM at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12 PM until the time of service at 3 PM.
