Nancy A Dimmick, 88, of Clearfield, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born on February 4, 1936 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Walter M. Passmore and Olive E. (Wise) Passmore.
Her very first job was at the movie theater at a very young age, then she worked for McGregor Sportswear for 26 years, then owned her own Montgomery Wards catalog store, and finished her career working as Director of the Clearfield Beauty Academy.
She was Methodist in faith and attended the Primitive Methodist Church in Glen Richey.
Nancy enjoyed traveling, shopping, and giving presents. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed her group of lifetime friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Grace C. Serafini; a brother, Richard Knepp; and her companion, Vince Centra.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Knepp; several nieces, Kim Haney, Tina Serafini, Heather Collins, Lisa Short, and Tracy Gross; nephews, Randy Knepp and Eric Knepp; and several great nieces and nephews.
Honoring the wishes of Ms. Dimmick, there will be no public visitation or services.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
