Nancy C. Stonebraker of Curwensville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2017.
Born July 2, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Thelma (Brown) Palmer.
Nancy was a devoted mother and wife and loved her family and her Lord and Savior. Her hobbies were search word puzzles and watching Golden Girls.
She wed the love of her life Edward Stonebraker on March 27, 1955 and he had preceded her in death in 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Shirley, Betty and Sandy; and one brother, Albert.
Surviving are six children, Pam Curry and husband Barry, Ed Stonebraker Jr. and wife Lynette, Deb Frailey and husband Dennis, Bruce Stonebraker and wife Cheryl, Diane Zimmerman and husband Pete, and Sandy Solomon and husband Rob; eighteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, one great great grandson; and two sisters, Anita Miller and Thelma Magno.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday at 11 AM with Bruce Stonebraker, son, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 PM and Friday from 10-11 AM.
