Nancy J. Yeager, 85, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield.

Mrs. Yeager was born in Spangler on December 25, 1938, the daughter of the late John and Frances (O'Brien) Semelsberger.

She was a long-time member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield.

She was a homemaker and also had helped her husband, Lynn, in the family moving business. Being very active, she used to play tennis daily, and played bridge once a month with her bridge club.

She was very involved with the YMCA, serving on the boards of directors at the local, national, and international levels. She also served as a water exercise and water aerobics instructor. Mrs. Yeager was a certified PIAA and NCAA swimming and diving official and had been assigned as meet referee at state level championships. She was also a long time member of the Red and Black Club at Clearfield High School. Mrs. Yeager served on the Clearfield Hospital board as well as volunteered there for several years. She belonged to the N.O.N. and Codery women's organizations. She also served on the Lawrence Township Zoning Board for several years.

Mrs. Yeager is survived by her three sons, Ed (Colleen) Yeager of Clearfield, Jay Yeager of Clearfield, and Michael (Aime) Yeager of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Thomas (Amber) Yeager, Molly (Travis) Winters, Gretchen (Justin) Olah, and Austin Yeager; four great grandchildren, Mason, Kyra, Gwen and Luke; two brothers, David (Mary Kay) Semelsberger, and James (Patti) Semelsberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn R. Yeager in 2016 and whom she wed June 16, 1956 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield; a granddaughter, Brooke Yeager; and two brothers, John and Tommy Semelsberger.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Jonathan Morningstar officiating. Interment will in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10 AM - Noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Little League, c/o Jeff Kavalek, 614 Park Avenue, Clearfield, PA 16830; or to the 'Clearfield Baseball Association', c/o Jeff Kavalek, 614 Park Avenue, Clearfield, PA 16830; or the Clearfield YMCA, 21 N. 2nd Street, Clearfield, PA 16830; or to the charity of choice.
