Nellie F. Hamilton, 94
formerly of Osceola Mills and most recently a resident of Windy Hill Village of the Presbyterian Homes, Philipsburg died on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the village.
She was born on October 17, 1910 in Beccaria, a daughter of the late Caldwell and Annice Caroline (Kephart) Nevling.
Mrs. Hamilton was formerly employed at the Presbyterian Homes in Philipsburg and as a care nurse in individuals homes. She also worked at Westinghouse in Pittsburgh.
She was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Gig Hamilton of Clearfield, two grandchildren, Shellie Brown and husband Robb of Clearfield, Todd Hamilton and wife Joanna of Irvona and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Edgar, Nora Mae, Charles, Forest, Walter, Franklin, David, George Dewey, Ernest Floyd, Maude, twins Joy and Jolly, Theodore, Clair and Mary Pearl .
At the request of Mrs. Hamilton, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the YMCA, 21 N. Second Street, Clearfield or to the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, PO Box 550, Clearfield.
