Nellie Marino, 89
of 313 Reed Street, Clearfield died on Monday, November 10, 2003 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on November 7, 1914 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Luigi and Savera (Cangame) Marrara.
Mrs. Marino was employed at various businesses in the Clearfield area having last worked for the Fashion Shop and Ziff's Tots to Teens.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, the Catholic Daughters of America Court 498 and the Martha Washington Lodge Number 1525, Order Sons of Italy. She was also a member of the former Grandmothers Club.
She is survived by two children,

three grandchildren,
Michelle Conitto and husband Joe Pittsburgh
Andrea Plubell and husband Paul Oakdale
Michael Toto and wife Shelly Clearfield
and numerous nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Marino on December 15, 1970 and whom she married July 22, 1936 in St. Francis Church, Clearfield, a daughter-in-law, Judith Marino and these brothers and sisters, Sam, Frank, Peter, Tony and Joseph Marrara, Mary Lapare and Katherine Elia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at
1:30 P.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday from
2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Friday from 12:30 - 1:00 PM.
At the funeral home on Thursday, a Christian Vigil Service will be said at 3:45 PM and the rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM followed by a memorial service by the members of the CD of A.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 119 E. Market Street, Clearfield, the American Heart Association, PO Box 92, Clearfield or to the charity of ones choice.
