Nickolas J. Sadoti, 86 of Clearfield died on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Altoona Regional Health Care Systems - Altoona Campus.
He was born on January 24, 1924 in Clearfield, a so
n of the late Nicolo and Catherine (Fama) Sadoti.
Mr. Sadoti owned and operated the former Crystal Spring Lodge, Inc. until 1974.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. He served with the US Army during WW II.
He is survived by three brothers, Joe Sadoti of Arlington, VA, Jim Sadoti and wife June of Houston, TX, Carl Sadoti of Solomons, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maude E. (Wood) Sadoti on July 8, 2008 and whom he married in the St. Francis Rectory in 1957, three brothers Anthony, John and Phillip Sadoti and a sister Carmella Moore.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 6-8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9-9:30 AM.
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 5:45 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Church, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield.
