Nikki D. Caldwell , 28, of Curwensville died on Friday, March 22, 2013 at home.
She was born on March 5, 1985 in Clearfield, a daughter of Mark Caldwell of Curwensville and Diane (Farrell) Cathcart of Glen Richey.
Nikki cherished the time she spent raising her son, Reagan. She also had a love of animals, especially working with horses. It is this love that led to her education at Meredith Manor Equine College for a year and then three years at Johnson College, Scranton for training to be a Veterinarian Technician. Nikki graduated from Curwensville High School in 2003. She was very artistic and had a talent for drawing.
She is survived by her father, Mark Caldwell and his wife Gloria; her mother, Diane Cathcart and her husband Harry; her fiancé, Kurt Sharpless of Curwensville; a son, Reagan Rhone Sharpless; paternal grandparents, Keith and Louise Caldwell of Curwensville; five brothers and two sisters, Beau T. Caldwell and wife Carol of DuBois, Brandon W. Cathcart of Olanta, Jared T. Caldwell and wife Kristen of Glen Richey, Andy Vezza, Josh Vezza, Donna M. Clamp of Grampian and Tina L. Martell of Curwensville.
Nikki was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe and Thelma Farrell.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Achey officiating.
