Norma G. Hay, 85, of Clearfield died on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
She was born on September 3, 1921 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Elva (Norris) Barrett.
Mrs. Hay was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by four children, Glenn Hubler and wife Liz of St. Louis, MO, Robin Hay and wife Sharon of Clearfield, Sandra Manos and husband John of Absecon, NJ, Tammy Norman and husband William of Glen Richey; a step-son, Dennis Hay and wife Lucille of Atlanta, GA; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Donna Kopsic of WV, Betty Robinson of Curwensville, Naida Cline of Clearfield, Nadra Matter of Harrisburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar 'Buddy' Hay on May 4, 1999 and whom she wed June 27, 1953; a grandson; and a brother, Albert Jay Barrett.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Monday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday from 2-6 PM and on Monday from 9-9:30 AM.
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 5:45 PM
