Norma Jean Ogden, 89, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born on October 17, 1927 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Condon) Poole.
Mrs. Ogden retired from The Progress newspaper after 20 years of employment. Previously, she was employed by McGregors Sportswear.
She is survived by her son, William R. Ogden, Jr. of Clearfield; a granddaughter, Susan; four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Welch of Beech Creek.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Ogden on November 22, 2005 and whom she wed November 27, 1946 at St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Irwin; and a brother, Robert Poole.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
