Olive H. Yatta, 86
of 151 Race Street, Clearfield died on Friday, May 24, 2002 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
She was born on January 8, 1916 in LeContes Mills, PA, a daughter of the late Eugene and Cenia (Amon) Jannot.
Mrs. Yatta retired from the Clearfield Area School District and was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and a former member of the Mt. Joy Grange and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lawrence Township Fire Co. #1.
She is survived by two sons,
William E. Yatta
Paul E. Yatta both of Clearfield
two granddaughters,
Melissa Ann Knee
Michelle Yatta both of Clearfield
a great grandson,
Joshua
and a sister,
Leona C. Dingey Clearfield
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julius William Yatta on March 2, 1965 and whom she married September 9, 1940 in Clearfield, a brother Orville Jannot and a sister Clara M. Fister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at
10:00 A.M. with Rev. Dennis C. Hadberg and Rev. Gregory A. Kirsch as con-celebrants. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from
2-4 & 7-9 PM
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Church, 212 S. Front Street, Clearfield or to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, RD# 3, Box 86, Philipsburg PA 16866
