Oscar (Loss) Laws, 93
of Dorey Street, Clearfield died on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on April 11, 1910 in Chimney Rock, NC, a son of the late Rev. John and Mary Loss.
Mr. Laws was employed by the former Robinson Clay Products and retired from the Clearfield Progress and County National Bank.
He served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the F. Michael Sicks Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1785 of Clearfield and the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post #6.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Lytle) Laws, whom he married November 4, 1939 in Gaffney, SC

Karah, Ryan, and Taye Lynch, and Nicholas and Christopher Osborn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by these brothers and sisters James, William, Edna, Anna, Mandy, Lena, and Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Thomas R. Searfoss officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Friday
from 9-10 AM.
