Paul Francis Dudak, 61, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at his residence.
He was born on June 24, 1948 in Philipsburg, a son of Anna (Fenush) Dudak of Clarence and the late Joseph Dudak.
Mr. Dudak retired from the Clearfield County Board of Assistance as an Income Maintenance Administrator after 24 years of service. Prior to that, he was employed with CP Realty and Harbison Walker Refractories, both of Clearfield.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and the Knights of Columbus Clearfield Council #409. He was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Rose (Ettaro) Dudak, whom he wed June 1, 1974 in Clearfield; two daughters, Lori Morin and her husband, Brian, of Pittsburgh, and Denise Dudak, also of Pittsburgh; two grandsons, Josh and Braden Morin; a brother and six sisters, Joe Dudak of Grassflat, Mary Drapcho of Snow Shoe, Annie Schall of Clarence, Dorothy Kazimir of NJ, Margaret Grzech of Macomb, MI, Dolores Nelson of Bethel, MN, and Christine Weaver of York; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jim Dudak.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and the Clearfield Veteran's of Foreign Wars Posts' honor guard.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 9-9:30 AM.
At the funeral home on Friday, a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 1:45 PM and the rosary will be recited at 5:45 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Foundation for Health - Hospice, PO Box 992, Clearfield or Saint Francis Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield.
