Philomena Chillemi

Philomena A. Martin Chillemi, 83, a resident of the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the center.
She was born December 20, 1922 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (Santora) Martin.
Mrs. Chillemi was a homemaker and prior to her marriage was employed as a secretary by Merck and Co.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by two daughters, Maria A. Chillemi of State College and Pamela Yeager and husband Don of Charlotte, NC; a grandson, Anthony Yeager of Charlotte, NC; a sister and a brother, Pauline Cerchiaro of Clearfield and Frank Martin of NJ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Chillemi on April 10, 2005 and whom she wed February 19, 1949 in St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at 2:00 P.M. with Monsignor H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
