Preston A. Luzier, 74, of Clearfield died on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born on May 15, 1939 in Clearfield, a son of the late Charles E. and Agnes B. (Muir) Luzier.
Mr. Luzier retired in 1995 as a truck driver for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline M. (Dusch) Luzier whom he wed May 20, 1960; three sons, James A. Luzier of Clearfield, Raymond L. Luzier and wife Lisa of Woodland and Preston A. Luzier, Jr. of Clearfield; four grandchildren, Shawn, Michelle, Crystal and Alishia Luzier; two sisters, Helen L. Smith and husband Lester of AZ and Mary E. Aughenbaugh of Ebensburg; a brother, Wayne L. Luzier and wife Pat of Clearfield; a sister-in-law, Mary J. Curry and husband Denny of Clearfield; a brother-in-law, George Lupton of Philipsburg; a half sister, Wrenda Jockel; and two half brothers, Ginter and George Stone; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tomey L. Luzier; a great granddaughter, Jasmin L. Martell; two sisters, Hazel L. Gormont and Becky M. Lupton; and a brother, Trim F. Luzier.
At the request of Mr. Luzier, there will be no public services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
