Priscilla Owens

Priscilla J. Owens, 88, of Woodland died on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born on February 20, 1929 in Boggs Township, a daughter of the late Walton and Frances (Shaw) Stevens.

Mrs. Owens was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family.
She was affiliated with the Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland, and was a member of the former Main Street United Methodist Church of Woodland for over 60 years, where she held various offices.

She is survived by her five children, Edwin Owens of Watsontown, Brian Owens and wife Karen of Woodland, Shawn Owens and wife Debbie of Morrisdale, Holly Carr and husband Robert of Morrisdale and Michele Dixon of Clearfield; sixteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Geynet H. Owens on July 23, 2013. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Ivan Ray Berringer, son of Michele Dixon and Kevin Shane Owens, son of Shawn and Debbie Owens; and a daughter-in-law, Patti Lingle Owens, wife of Edwin Owens.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at 2:30 PM with Rev. Dave Jacobs and Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30-2:30 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lake Street United Methodist Church, 115 Lake Street, Woodland.
