Raymond Keith Rose, 58
of Hamilton, N.J. and formerly of Clearfield died on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on September 7, 1949 in Clearfield, a son of the late Raymond Rose and Marjorie Jean (Lenhart) Miller.
Mr. Rose retired in 2007 as a Corrections Officer with the NJ State Juvenile Justice Commission. He also was a former Union President of Local #367.
While living in Clearfield, he was employed with Lady Jane Collieries, Inc.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Rose of Hamilton, NJ, his step-mother, Joan Rose of Kersey, three children, Brian Rose and wife Tracey of Woodland, Christi Marshall and husband Brian of Clearfield, Brad Rose of Woodland, three grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Taylor, two brothers and a sister, Michael Rose and wife Lori of Clearfield, Gary Rose of TX, Linda Robbins and husband Randy, NC, a brother-in-law, John Mankovich, a half-brother and two half-sisters, Barry Rose of Harrisburg, Brenda Sennett of Warren, Jackie Kline of Kersey and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 7:00 P.M. with Minister Isaiah Krause officiating. Interment will be in the Egypt Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7:00 PM.
