Regina Shaw

Regina M. "Jeannie" Shaw, 80, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

Mrs. Shaw was born January 18, 1945, in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Rolley) Moore.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and graduated from St. Francis High School, class of 1962. She had been employed at a local bank for over 30 years. She then worked for the Clearfield Area School District until her retirement.

Jeannie loved baking cookies for her family and friends at Christmas time and was an excellent cook. She always enjoyed preparing holiday meals for her friends and family.

During their 60 years of marriage, Bill and Jeannie were fortunate to travel together to all 50 states and 6 different countries. Locally, she enjoyed taking trips to Benezette to view the elk.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by her husband of 60 years, William A. Shaw of Clearfield; two children, Renee Shaw of Clearfield and William A. Shaw, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Penfield; two grandchildren, Quinn and Augustus Kulling; and a brother, Thomas Moore and wife Susan of Clearfield. She is also survived by two granddogs, as she liked to refer to them, Marty and Roanin Shaw.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Moore, Jr.; and three sisters, Rose Flanagan, Gloria Farrell, and Winifred Flanagan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Robert Horgas as celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends and family will be received at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Francis School, 230 S. 2nd Street Clearfield.
