Retired Chief Master Sergeant Paul Killion

Retired Chief Master Sergeant Paul Rease Killion, 84, of Clearfield died on Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home.

He was born on March 9, 1939 in Curwensville, a son of the late Herman and Betty (Rex) Killion.

Paul retired from the United States Air Force after 33 years of service and thoroughly enjoyed serving his country. He had coached pee-wee, Junior High and Senior High football. Paul enjoyed gardening and tending to his small produce business. He raised chickens and thoroughly enjoyed going to families camp and family dinners.

Paul loved his family and his grandchildren were everything to him. You would always see him at dance recitals. He would always be seen at baseball, softball,and soccer games or watching from the stands at basketball, track, and football events. He never missed a chance to tell them that he loved them and how proud of them he was.

He is survived by his wife, Terry (Dixon) Killion; eight children, Rebecca Lynne Graves and husband Shawn, Joseph Lyle Rumsky and wife Denise, Elizabeth Ann Rumsky and husband Stephen, Rebecca Killion, Michael Killion, Teri Shumaker and husband Mike, Annette Calhoun and husband Will, and Linda Moncrief; twelve grandchildren, Karly Rumsky, Karson Rumsky, Graeson Graves, Gabrielle Graves, Melissa Calhoun, Mallory Folsom and husband Josh, Zachary Moncrief and husband Bill, Austin Moncrief, Alex Shumaker and wife Lari, Jacob Shumaker, Kyle Killion, and Drew Killion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Clifford; and two sisters, Bettymae and Anna.

In honoring Paul's wishes, there will be no services held at this time.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements.
