Reuben Albert Norris Jr., 81, of Curwensville passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield.
He was born on September 13, 1941 in Clearfield, a son of the late Reuben and Mae (Hineman) Norris.
Reuben graduated from Curwensville High School in 1959. He was a truck driver after his time serving in the US Army. Upon retirement, he enjoyed spending the winters in Florida.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Mae (Valimont) Norris whom he wed October 14, 1995 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Clearfield; a son, Jason Norris; eight step children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11 AM with Ty Maines officiating.
Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Clearfield Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bob Perks Fund, PO Box 313, State College, PA 16804.
